The focus for ArcGIS for Server at 10.3 is to continue to improve its usability, performance, scalability, and robustness. 10.3 builds upon the solid foundations of 10.1 and 10.2. No major changes are anticipated with regards to backwards compatibility or workflows.
ArcGIS for Server services statistics: A new dashboard within the ArcGIS Server Manager for administrators to monitor the activity and usage of services. Better understand how people are using GIS services to help improve server reliability and responsiveness. Statistics include:
- Number of requests for all services or a particular set of services handled in the past week.
- Load distribution during the past week.
- Hourly performance for every service.
- Maximum number of instances used at any given point in time for any particular service.
Scripts and developer samples will be available to extract and integrate ArcGIS for Server statistics data into third part reporting tools.
Expanded OGC standards support: 10.3 will expand OGC standards support to include the WFS 2.0 and WCS 2.0.1 standards.
